Was watching the tv when i came across this commercial from DOVE. DOVE is now adopting the campaignforrealbeauty campaign which i thought was one of the coolest thing in the world. After watching the commercial, i was touched, and something weird tingled deep down in my heart...

In this world where the exposure to tons and tons of skinny or perfect-figured models is extremely abundant in various media mediums, people are easily affected by what these celebs or model do. As models strut down the glamourous red-carpet, they have not realised the tremendous amount of harm they have done to million of young girls around the world.

Girls at the age of as young as 11 wanting to slim down due to the heavy influence of their favourite celebrities. There are youngs girls feeling depressed about their freckles, those with black hair yearn for being a blonde, those with black eyes wish for a pair of blue ones and those short feel sad and inconfident of themselves.

Those mentally weak are so depressed with themselves that many resorted to committing suicide. In some cases, where young girls go for dieting, they ended up suffering from various diseases, destroying their lives forever...

How in the world did our idea of beauty become so distorted, so disgusting, and so wicked? Why are these young innocent girls risking their lives to 'look better'? What can we do to stop this from happening? The endless amounts questions continue to flow...

The concept of beauty celebs and models portray today are risking the lives of many people now. Is this what the society wants today? Millions of girls with perfect figure? Or a society with millions of happy, healthy and confident people?

I was thoroughly influenced by the commercial, it is great! And now, i am gonna be a loyal supporter of the campaign.
